Happy July, friends! Has this year flown by or what? This year we’ll be celebrating poolside and Ryan’s dad is also visiting from New York and will be meeting Porter for the first time so we’re very excited about that! In today’s post we’re sharing our red, white & blue looks for the 4th!
On Kristina: chambray top // white jeans // gingham headband (similar here & here) // white sandals
On Porter: monogrammed sunsuit (similar here & here) // sandals
You can never go wrong with chambray in the spring or summer and I love this top I recently picked up from Anthro. I love anything that ties in the front and also the fringe detail on the sleeves. Plus, it’s made of Tencel so it’s super soft and easy to throw on with a pair of white jeans.
And speaking of- I’ve had my eye on this pair of button-front Madewell skinnies and finally broke down an get a pair because my white jeans needed replacing. One the past year I’ve become a huge fan of Madwell denim- it’s honestly my go-to. I love the buttons and the fact that they actually hit my ankles (they come in petite so no need for alterations, praise)!
As for Porter’s outfit, I got this sunsuit during one of The Beaufort Bonnet Company’s big sales. They have the most adorable, southern, preppy outfits. I knew the patriotic plaid would be perfect for the fourth- it’s just a tad big but he’ll grow into it and can rock it all summer. Plus, it’s even sweeter with his monogram on the front!
