So… this is my first official “wedding Wednesday” and I’m pretty excited about it. With the wedding just over a year away (eeek!) hopefully I can plan on writing these posts a little more often. You may remember that I had a month off from school in December and that’s when I did the majority of my planning, or at least booked all the main vendors. I was on it- meeting with people left and right and making sure I picked the best team. Now I’m at the point where I don’t really have anything to do, but I’m sure things will start getting busier in the summer/fall!
One thing I checked off my list very early was asking my bridal party! If you know me, then you know I can be very impatient so I wanted to ask these girls ASAP (which was back in January). I was perusing through Etsy when I spotted these adorable scratch-off cards and I knew I had to have them! They were super adorable, however, the “scratch me” text was a little hard to read. I had to stop the girls from opening the card before scratching the little square, but at least they all said yes!
Logan – Maid of Honor
Logan and I met our junior year in college when she rushed ZTA so we’ve been friends for over 7 years, but it feels a lot longer than that. We pretty much did everything together in college and she probably knows me better than anyone. She’s the queen of snail mail and sweet treats (and has already gotten me plenty of those). No doubt she will make an amazing MOH!
Rachael – Bridesmaid
Rachel and I also go back to the ZTA days and she is one of my “little sisters.” My little who is actually older than me but that’s okay! Not only did we enjoy sorority life together, but we also got to experience the joys of organic chemistry. The struggle was real.
Katie – Bridesmaid
I didn’t meet Katie until the year after college, but we quickly became great friends. We lived up the single life together back in the day (Alive After 5 every Thursday) and now we’re both tying the knot- it’s crazy how time flies. I’m so excited to stand by her side as she gets married in less than a month!
Lindsay – Bridesmaid
Lindsay is another ZTA sister that I actually didn’t hang out with the first year she joined, but we got super close after she moved into the sorority house. She’s my fellow fashionista and introduced me to the wonderful world of babysitting, Pinterest, and blogging.
Sarah – Bridesmaid
Sarah and I found each other on Facebook before starting PA school and living with this girl has truly made school more fun than I ever imagined. We study together, watch Grey’s together, work out together and she has truly become one of my best friends these past 2 years. So excited that by this time next year, we’ll both be practicing PAs!
I am so very excited to share my big day (and all the festivities leading up to it) with these five special ladies. And let me just say that I’m already counting down to the bachelorette party- but we’ll talk about that in another post. They have already been so great and supportive with all things wedding and next on our list is… bridesmaid dresses! Stay tuned for more wedding planning 🙂

Wedding Wednesday posts are the best – while you’re just starting yours, I’m just finishing mine and I LOVE having them to look back on all the little steps along the way (with all the chaos – it’s hard to remember everything)! I asked my girls so quickly too – I couldn’t wait! The scratch off cards are such a cute idea – I haven’t seen that one before!

Sounds like you have a great team of ladies behind you! Four is the perfect number, in my opinion. I started with six and by my wedding day, I had five… You've inspired to write a post about it 🙂
