#Trending Tuesday: Maxi Moment

Maxi dresses are the ultimate summer uniform. They’re easy, flowy, and oh so chic. Not much outfit planning is involved, all you have to do is add some accessories! I got this dress last year at Petal (one of my favorite boutiques in Charlotte) and it is my go-to when I want to get a little glammed up. I especially love the open back. I wore this recently for a girls night out, but you could easily dress it up even more with a metallic clutch and some strappy heels and you would be ready for a summer wedding! I’m super short (or as Ryan likes to say, “fun-sized”) but I feel that maxis are very elongating… I at least like to think I look a little taller!
Oh and I can’t forget to give a shoutout to my sweet photog. We know nothing about photography but I think his pictures are on point (thanks to the new camera & a little bit of practice)! It’s a learning process but it’s always fun when you’re doing it with your main squeeze 🙂

Ps. Last night I was so excited to find out that I received a little scholarship for this next year of school! It’s good to know that all my essay writing finally paid off.. any little bit helps when you’re taking out as many loans as I am!
