Whether it’s a flirty dress or a flowy top, you know I’m all about the pieces that show a little shoulder. I recently wore this outfit in Chicago but didn’t get a chance to take some “official” blog photos… so here they are! I can’t get enough of this one-shoulder ruffle top and it’s under $50!
As soon as I spotted this top, I knew it had to be mine. Pale mint/seafoam is one of my favorite colors, in fact this was the color of my bridesmaid’s dresses! It’s super lightweight and breezy and I like the details in the circular cutouts and textured edge on the ruffle. Throw on some white skinnies and some wedges and bam! you have an easy-peasy outfit. Speaking of these wedges, they are on sale right now in this tan color I’m wearing and also in black. I wear these babies all the time (I appreciate the extra height!) and they’re the perfect transitional shoe because you can wear them into early fall.
On another note, I feel like I have been pretty overwhelmed the past few months with my job, working on our house, and making time for the blog. Sometimes I think back to when I was in PA school and was posting 5 times a week- how in the world did I have time for that?! Since I work 12+ hour shifts at my job, blogging/posting on Instagram is next to impossible. I’m also not the best at time management or planning my posts which leads to me getting a little stressed out- I want to post consistently and hate when I “fall behind.” My goal is to let go of some of that stress and continue to produce great content 2-3 times a week and also become better about my time management (while also having a life and not being on my phone all the time). Do any of you guys ever feel the pressure to constantly keep up? It can definitely be tough in the world of blogging but I just constantly have to remind myself that becoming a full-time blogger is NOT my ultimate goal. I have a great career that I truly enjoy and just cannot dedicate every second of my time to blogging and social media… and that’s okay! I truly appreciate all my readers, old and new, who continue to come to this space every day and thank you for continuing to support Medicine & Manicures!

I completely understand the overwhelming pressure. With working, blogging, 3 kids, a husband I like spending time with, and life in general – it’s crazy. But oh so much fun! I can’t imagine not being a blogger.
One shoulder tops are my favorite! So much easier to wear and move around in. hehe
Love this light, airy color.
XOXO
Happy Weekend!
