TV Shows I’m Watching This Fall

Happy October, friends!! Fall has THE best tv shows- am I right or am I right?! This is one of the many reasons why I love this season and there are so many great shows that just started up so I thought I’d share what I’m watching, both new and old. GREY’S ANATOMY | Thursdays at 8pm on ABC

In my personal opinion, this is one of the best shows on TV. Why else would there be 15 seasons? I started rewatching it from the beginning while I was in PA school which made it even more interesting because I understood all the medical lingo. The drama is never ending and pretty much all of the cast has had a near-death experience, but I happily keep coming back for more!

THE GOOD DOCTOR | Mondays at 10pm on ABC

This show is about a surgical resident who has autism and is trying to navigate his way as a new doctor and face adversity from his peers. It just started its 2nd season and I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. I mean, it’s no Grey’s, but still recommend!

9-1-1 | Mondays at 9pm on FOX

This show is a drama that follows the lives of first responders in LA. I have to admit, the first few episodes of the first season seemed a bit cheesy, but obviously I’m a sucker for medical dramas so I kept watching. It has honestly turned out to be such a good show and I like how a lot of the cases are based on real ones (anyone remember the pilot that faked engine trouble before proposing?)

AMERICAN HORROR STORY | Wednesdays at 10pm on FX

I LIVE for this show in the fall- if you like suspenseful/creepy/twisted shows then this one’s for you. Each season is considered a “miniseries” that has it’s own storyline with some recurring cast members. Past seasons have included a murder house, asylum, coven, freakshow, hotel, another haunted house and a cult. This season is called “Apocalypse” and revolves around what happens to those lucky enough to survive and atomic blast that wiped out most of the world.

MANIFEST | Mondays at 10pm on NBC

This is the newest show to hit NBC this fall and after the watching the first episode I was hooked!! A family is traveling back to NYC from Montego Bay and when the flight is oversold, three of the family members decide to take another flight home. They hit some turbulence mid-flight and land after what seemed like a 3-hour flight but they had actually gone missing for 5 years! The passengers of the plane try to readjust to their previous lives but something strange is happening to all of them that will bring them together.

MODERN FAMILY | Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC

I love this show because it’s a quick 30 minutes and you’re guaranteed to get some laughs in. They shed light on a nontraditional and slightly dysfunctional family and the dynamic between them is hilarious. I’ve been watching for years and it’s crazy to see how much the kids have grown up.

THIS IS US | Tuesdays at 9pm on NBC

This show is a drama that follows a married couple and their three children and how their lives unfold and develop over the years. It can be a tearjerker at times and I really liked the 1st season but the 2nd was just okay for me. I’ll admit, I don’t think it’s as great as a lot of people do but I still watch!
