This post has been a long time coming but I am finally ready to share Blair’s sweet nursery with y’all! I wanted it to be sweet, feminine and pink- pretty as a nursery but also a space she can grow into. Thanks to some furniture delays it wasn’t complete until a few months after her arrival, but overall I’m so happy with how it turned out and it made all my baby girl nursery dreams come true!

Baby girl nursery design
You might remember my baby girl nursery inspo post – I knew I wanted this Serena & Lily wallpaper (in pink, of course!) and the rest of the design just flowed from there. I knew I wanted a white crib again and when I saw this spindle crib at Crate & Kids, it was love at first sight! It’s so cute with a slightly vintage feel and I got the matching dresser to act as her changing area. To go along with the botanical wallpaper I chose this botanical crib sheet and the most gorgeous boudoir pillow from Hempstead Thread. They have some of THE most beautiful monograms and embroidery styles I’ve ever seen and this pillow will be a great keepsake for her for years to come.
I knew I wanted white furniture but also wanted to mix in some rattan pieces to add some warmth to the room. This bookshelf from World Market was the perfect addition- such a great size for lots of books and some decor for baby Blair. Also, there was space above to hang this gorgeous floral art print by C.Brooke Ring. If you guys have never seen her art, she paints some of the most beautiful floral pieces- I would love an original oil painting for our home one day!
For Blair’s glider, we chose the Nola from Oil Studio. This is the same company as the one we got for Porter, just a slightly different style. We actually “borrowed” Porter’s glider from his room for our newborn photos (I took the photos with the pink glider later on). Thanks to supply chain issues it took a few months to come in, but the blush pink was absolutely perfect! I also scored this floor lamp at HomeGoods but it came with a plain white shade which wasn’t doing much for the room. I wanted to add a touch of green and found the cutest pleated lampshade from Ballard Designs– they have so many pretty styles, highly recommend if you’re looking to switch up the look of a lamp!
I always like to add a little greenery to a room and this faux ZZ plant was the perfect fit! It looks so realistic and I gave it a little extra height in this elevated planter. Blair’s great aunt also gifted her this wicker doll stroller which not only looks cute as decor, but she will be able to push her dolls around when she’s learning how to walk (Porter has already broken it in for her)!
I am so happy with how everything came together in Blair’s nursery. Decorating this time around was a little more stressful (her crib arrived just days before her newborn shoot!) but it all worked out in the end. The space is sweet and girly, but can also grow with her in years to come!
