Hi, friends! Another weekend come and gone and just like that we’re halfway through October… anddd I just bought our first Christmas decorations yesterday. I know, too soon! Today’s outfit is a recent fave, one that I wore to my friend Katie’s baby shower a few weeks ago. We actually had another couples baby shower for my friend Logan this weekend. Two of my besties are having babies in the next two months… still can’t believe it but so excited to meet the little ones!
Now, let me tell you about my favorite new heels.
I got these blush velvet heels during the Nordstrom anniversary sale and they were hands down my favorite purchase. I mean, velvet and blush are two of my favorite things! They’re by Louise et Cie which is actually the line of shoes designed by Vince Camuto’s wife. And if I know anything about Vince Camuto’s shoes, it’s that they’re super comfy and always on trend. No difference with these babies! I’m so glad block heels are “in” because I just can’t wear shoes that kill my feet. They also come in 4 other colors and I found a slightly more affordable version here– a little more dressy with crystal embellishments.
You may remember this skirt from this post in the spring, but I decided to switch it up for a more fall-appropriate look. For the price, the quality is excellent and for reference this brand runs a little small (I’m wearing a 4P). I first wore it with the bralette top that it came with, but this time paired it with a charcoal grey wrap top, heels, and my trusty Louis bag. Oh, and can’t forget the tassel earrings– they are SO pretty and under $15.
