It’s that time of year again… Christmas card season!!! I’m always trying to be better about sending snail mail and this time of year definitely makes it easy. Who doesn’t love receiving a pretty little card in their mailbox?! Today I’m partnering with Minted to share a little bit of holiday cheer from Ryan’s and my first married Christmas!

We sent out our first card two years ago but forewent Christmas cards last year since we sent out our save-the-dates in late November. Needless to say, I was happy to pick back up on our yearly tradition and make some pretty cards to send out to friends and family. I used Minted for our save-the-dates and was super impressed with the quality so it was an easy choice when ordering our cards this year.

As much as I wanted to do a holiday-themed shoot with Ryan, we couldn’t ignore all the beautiful wedding photos plus I wanted to have a “married” themed card. Have to embrace this time as newlyweds one way or another!



Minted has so many fun designs, shapes and printing methods (even letterpress!). They also offer free recipient addressing, however I jump at any chance to do calligraphy so I hand addressed all of our cards. I did opt to get our return address printed on the back of the envelopes and a fun striped liner to add a pop of color.

    So pretty! We're sending out Christmas cards this year too – but doing post cards instead. Also – any chance you want to do some freelance calligraphy? I loveeee your style and just don't know if I'll be able to accomplish it!

    Absolutely LOVE the card!! I did use wedding pictures for our cards this year too! I'm still waiting on mine to come in, wish I did it through Minted though, definitely next year! Love getting cards in the mail this time of year :)!
