Although it’s still pretty hot over here in North Carolina, fall is on my mind. I feel like we’re in this awkward in between time where I don’t want to wear my summer-y outfits anymore because it’s September, but it’s still too hot to bust out the fall wardrobe. Seriously, I’m over the 85 degree weather. It’s almost that time to put away the wedges and Jack Rogers (tear.. these are my faves) and transition into flats.
My flats collection mostly consists of neutrals (along with most of my shoes… I really need to branch out) and I would love to add some of these rich, fall tones into my wardrobe. Don’t the blue suede flats just make you think of that Elvis song? And if there was a staple fall flat, it would definitely be the Tory Burch Reva. They take some breaking in, but they go with everything. I’m also loving the DV leather & leopard flats. They also come in different patterns if you prefer polka dots or tribal print.

I absolutely love flats and wear them to work daily – I've wanted to try the D'Orsay flat, but scared it wont give me enough support. Do you like them?

I'm guilty of only buying neutral shoes, too and need to start working on that! Steve Madden makes my very favorite flats… I have them in 3 different colors! Love the Tory's — those have been on my wish list forever now!

The only flats I wear at TB revas… I am obsessed! They are so comfortable and timeless. The only bad part is they are SO EXPENSIVE, obvi. I usually ask for a pair for Christmas from my parents or splurge for my birthday!

I am head over heels for the d'orsay flats. My only hesitation is the question of whether they're "closed toed" or not. I've been a bit scared to try them out on rotations. I'd love to hear if you have or not!

I'm completely with you on the weather dilemma. It is still pushing 100 here, and I am so ready for fall clothes. I love those d'orsay flats. That red is gorgeous!
