Whether it’s photo editing or scheduling workouts, it seems like there’s an app for everything theses days! Today I’m sharing 8 of my favorite iPhone apps (and they’re all free)!
Lightroom CC
This is my go-to photo editing app and always the first one I use. It has many of the same features of the desktop Lightroom version but you don’t need to have Lightroom experience, it’s very easy to use. You can use presents, do selective edits on certain parts of the photo and it now has a healing feature. You can also shoot photos directly from the app in DNG which is the mobile equivalent of RAW camera photos, giving you more editing capabilities. I used the Lightroom app to edit the photo below.
Unfold
If you want something to spruce up your Instagram stories, I highly recommend this app. You can add white borders, multiple photos/videos and clean fonts. It just makes your stories look a little more “professional.”
Venmo
If you don’t have the Venmo app, stop what you’re doing and download it! This is by far the easiest way to transfer money, especially if you’re like me and never have cash. I was at the nail salon the other day and they had just changed their policy to cash tips only and of course I didn’t have any cash on me but the nail tech asked if I had Venmo so I just paid her that way, so easy!
LIKEtoKNOW.it
I love this app because it’s the easiest way to shop outfits and home decor from your favorite bloggers and influencers (follow me here!). Every photo is shoppable and you can even create wishlists to save your favorite items for later, just click on the little heart on the corner of the item. And if you screenshot any LIKEtoKNOW.it enabled image on Instagram, it will immediately pop up in the app.
Snug
While I don’t stress too much over having a “perfectly curated” feed (I am not one of those people who can have the next 3-4 posts planned), I like to use Snug to plan my next IG photo to see what it will look like in the overall scheme. It’s the OCD in me!
Amazon Drive
Did you know if you have Amazon Prime then you get unlimited photo storage and 5G of video storage with Amazon? Yep, you heard right! You can drag all your photos into a folder on your computer and they’ll automatically appear in your app as well. This one has been a time saver- it’s so quick and easy to access old photos and document files. If you already have Prime, you need this!
ClassPass
I use this app to schedule all my workout classes and it has been great to get a variety of workouts in including spin, barre, circuit training, and yoga. You can sign up for a certain amount of credits per month which you can use toward fitness classes and studios- there are so many to choose from and I have found my favorites over the past 2 years. I’m almost at 250 classes! You can check out a more detailed post I wrote about it here. If you have ClassPass in your city and are curious to try it, you can get $30 off your first month by clicking here!
Bloglovin
Before the days of Insta-famous influencers, there were blogs and I still continue to read them whenever I get a chance! I love to use Bloglovin to follow all my favorite blogs- you can do this either on your computer or your app (follow me here). Scrolling through the “perfect” Instagram photos is great and all, but I love the amount of information I can get from the blog post and you can really get to know the blogger so much better. Some of my favorite to follow are Pretty in the Pines, Brighton the Day, Louella Reese, and Pink Peonies.
