Florals for spring… groundbreaking. If you don’t know what movie that line is from then we can’t be friends. Just kidding! 😉 We’re one day closer to spring so I thought I would start the week off with a fun floral dress under $50 and pretty palm trees from my recent trip to Florida. Oh, and can we just take a minute to talk about how amazing Justin Timberlake is?! His opening for the Oscars was awesome per usual and if he goes on tour again just trust me and buy the tickets. Hands down best concert I’ve ever been to!
I picked up this fun grey floral dress before heading out to Naples because I wanted something light and flowy that would keep me somewhat cool in the Florida heat. And let me just tell y’all… 30 minutes after taking these photos my hair was pretty much straight. #humidity.
What I like most about this dress is the contrasting grey & pink color combo and the split sleeves with little ties. It’s a fun detail that adds a unique element to this shift dress and makes it a little more breezy. It runs TTS (I’m wearing an XS) and comes in two other colors, white and navy. And for all my Devil Wears Prada fans, you know that florals for spring are certainly NOT groundbreaking but it’s a print that we will continue to reach for as the temps warm up, year after year.
And I finally broke down and got myself a pair of the Marc Fisher espadrilles aka THE shoes of the season and the hype is real. They go in and out of stock so if you see them in your size, I’d snatch them up quickly! This 5’2 girl appreciates the extra inches but they are super comfy because of the big platform. I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving the floral trend – I feel like I’m always typing into the search bar “floral dress” “floral top” – love the pink and grey together and of course those wedges!
