Happy Monday, y’all!! I hope everyone had a great weekend- the weather was so nice here (minus a few downpours) and it was great to spend some time outside without sweating to death. July is only two days away and I don’t know how it got here so fast, but I’m excited for this month because I have some fun events planned almost every weekend! Last year Ryan & I spent the 4th at a wedding and hopefully this year I can spend it at the beach. When I was a kid, my favorite part about the 4th were the fireworks and sparklers (which will be making a comeback at my wedding!) and now I just love grilling out and being together with friends.
Whatever the holiday may be, I always like to put a little festive effort into my wardrobe. You really can’t go wrong with the color scheme here- anything red, white, or blue will do! Whether you’re keeping it casual at the beach or dressing up for a party, go on and show that American pride. I’ve put together four outfits that would be perfect for the 4th. Enjoy!
I’m officially in my last week of my ortho rotation so it will be quite the busy week. On the agenda is studying for my test, studying for our physical exam checklist, packing up my life, and driving back to Raleigh on Wednesday. I’m so not ready to leave Charlotte but I just keep telling myself… less than 6 months to go!
