It’s been a while since I’ve shared a home tour post, but I’m back today to finally share our guest room and bathroom! We have two guest rooms in our house, this one is upstairs on the same level as our master and then we have one downstairs which we still haven’t decorated… and probably won’t until this one becomes a baby room one day. Not anytime soon though! Anyways, let’s get on with the guest bedroom home tour and as always, all sources are listed at the bottom of the post.
As you may know, our house is neutral (painted in SW Agreeable Grey) so we wanted to add color in our master, guest room and powder room. For this space we went with Sherwin Williams Krypton, a relaxing and calming blue. I wanted this space to be very comfortable and inviting and that all starts with the focal point, the bed. We got our tufted bed from Pottery Barn and added a touch of glam with mirrored nightstands from One King’s Lane. We wanted a smaller dresser so we decided on the infamous Hemnes chest from Ikea. It’s super affordable and I even built it all by myself (!!!) and switched out the knobs for some clear ones to match the nightstands.
I love the airy look of the glass lamps, a great HomeGoods find. We kept the accessories pretty minimal with a faux plant, small candle and a framed photo of the coast of Positano. The beachy print above the dresser was another HomeGoods find (has some Gray Malin vibes, don’t you think?) and the shagreen tray is a great place for guests to drop off their jewelry and wallets.

So serene and beachy. I love it! My guest room has all my old furniture in it so it doesn’t look anything like the rest of my house. I’ll have to update it soon.
