With the end of October in sight, we decided to make a quick trip to the pumpkin patch last weekend. October is my favorite month of the year but I have been traveling so much that I feel like I haven’t had much time to just slow down and enjoy it. And I still haven’t watched Hocus Pocus this year!! I know, I need to get on it. Today I’m excited to share my newest fall accessory with you guys and how you can get your hands on one as well. Keep reading for a fun giveaway and… TGIF!

I was recently introduced to JORD, a company that makes watches out of wood. You don’t see that every day! I’m always looking to expand my timepiece collection and was excited to add this unique watch to the mix. I chose the ‘Frankie 35’ style in Zebrawood which is perfect for smaller wrists. I’m so glad that smaller watches are making a comeback because this girl couldn’t do the whole oversized men’s watch thing!

What I really love about my watch was the fact that it arrived with a perfect fit. The cool thing about JORD is that you can take a measurement of your wrist at home and they will size it for you so it’s ready to wear right out of the box! (They also give you the extra links). This was a nice perk, especially for someone with tiny wrists like myself. I also love how light it is compared to a metal linked watch… and obviously the neutral tones go with everything in my closet. I love the mix of light and dark brown hues in the zebrawood.

I have to say, when I first heard it was a wood watch I was a little skeptical. When we think about watches we tend to gravitate toward metal or leather and the wood material is a little unexpected. However after receiving it and wearing it out a few times, I was so impressed. The quality is great, it’s not the watch that everyone else has, and I love that it’s so comfortable.
