July Beauty Haul


Hi friends and thanks for stopping by! It just came to me that it’s almost August- holy crap where has the summer gone?!? Today, I thought I would share my latest beauty haul. I usually don’t buy this much stuff at a time… BUT… a lot of my products were running out so it had to be done!

Dermalogica Microfoliant
After getting a sample of this from my esthetician, I knew I had to break down and get it. I always thought an “exfoliant” and “scrub” were the same thing, until I learned that using a chemical exfoliant like this can be much more gentle on my skin. It’s a powder that contains natural enzymes that turns into a paste when mixed with water. I’ve only been using it for over a week, but it makes my skin feel amazing and I can tell it has looked more clear.


Formula X Polish
These were my free gift with my Sephora purchase (I’ll take any nail polish I can get) and I have to say, the polish works really well. I’ve only used the white so far (called “white matter“) and absolutely love it.

MAC “Pink Nouveau” Lipstick
My beloved Hourglass lipstick in “ballet” melted while we were in St. Maarten so I was on the hunt for a pretty pink replacement. I love this color and it’s half the price!


Billion Dollar Brows
I started using these products last fall (remember this post?) and just ran out so I had to replenish. I’m obsessed! The brow pencil is universal and can be used on any hair color and the brow gel is great for keeping them groomed and in place.

Makeup For Ever Concealer
I’ve been using this concealer for years and will probably use it forever (how fitting, right?!). I love the applicator and it’s perfect for covering up those pesky blemishes.

Living Proof Full Discovery Kit
I got a sample of the thickening cream and really liked what it did to my hair, so I decided to try out the whole kit. How cute are these little shampoo bottles? Has anyone had success with the Living Proof products? I’d love to hear how they work!

    I've heard some really good things about Living Proof, curious to know what you think. I may pick up the little mini bottle kit and try it out. Loving that lip color on you!!

    I've heard so many good things about the living proof brand- might have to go try it! And def looking into the brow pencil..sounds amazing!
