May Favorites

You guys know what day it is- May is coming to a close so I’m rounding up a few of my favorites including some new beauty products, my ride or die wedges and travel must-haves!

ST. TROPEZ BRONZING MOUSSE | I should probably have a before & after of this self tanner but trust me… it’s a good one! I’ve been using it for about 2 years now. I use the mousse in dark and it’s so easy to apply (just make sure to use the mitt)! Even if you think you might have a streak, it will all even out in the shower. It’s not orange at all and looks very natural. After applying make sure you’re all the way dry or else it may rub off on your sheets.

IT COSMETICS CC CREAM | I’ve been using this CC cream for years and can’t get enough! I’m not one to wear full-coverage foundation and don’t like anything too heavy so this product is a happy medium. I also love that it has physical SPF 50.

SUPERGOOP SETTING MIST WITH SPF | Because just one sunscreen application isn’t enough! This refreshing mist not only sets your makeup but is an easy way to reapply SPF throughout the day. I recommend to get the $12 travel-size!

TOO FACED SHADOW INSURANCE | It wasn’t util about 2 years ago that I started using eyeshadow primer and let me tell you… I can’t live without it! This one from Too Faced will help your eyeshadow stay put all day and prevent creases. A must-have for any makeup bag.

BOBBI BROWN CRUSHED LIP COLOR | I was on the hunt for an every day pink lip color when I came across this at Sephora. One swipes gives you a lip tint effect and multiple swipes will wear more like a lipstick. I love the versatility and the color and it’s also hydrating. The color I’m wearing is called “Baby.”

PINK FLORAL DRESS | This was definitely one of my favorite dresses for spring. I found it last minute as I was scrambling to find something to wear for my birthday and it ended up being one of my go-to dresses. It’s on sale for under $27 and there is limited availability so I’d scoop it up now if you can!

SPLENDID ESPADRILLES | I got these last year when I was in need of a new, comfortable wedge. I am a sucker for neutral shoes because I like a shoe that can go with everything and have been wearing these nonstop since I got them! They are TTS and the heel is just hight enough to give you a boost but won’t hurt your feet. Oh, and they’re under $50!!

MADEWELL FRONT-TIE TANK | This one is a must for summer. I love the texture of it and of course anything with a front tie. I will say this brand runs small (I size up to a S). It comes in 6 colors and is a great staple for the season.

HANGING TRAVEL ORGANIZER | This one is a travel favorite and I have gotten SO much use out of it the past few years. This exact pattern isn’t available but there are tons of others to choose from. The hook is key so you can save space on your bathroom counter and it folds up easily for travel. I also like that the compartments are lined with plastic incase anything spills.

PORTABLE STEAMER | This is another item that I cannot travel without. I hate wrinkles and hate ironing even more so this steamer is a lifesaver because it is so tiny (and only $25). I don’t have a larger steamer at home so I use it to steam all my clothes and it does a great job and is super quick. One note though- if you are taking this steamer internationally, make sure to buy a voltage converter (not just adapter plug). It will fry from too much power, I learned the hard way 2 years ago in Italy!
