Newborn Must-Haves from Boppy

Hi, friends! As a new mom, I have been embracing all things baby and have accumulated a fair share of baby gear around the house. Sometimes it can be hard to decide which products you actually need and today I’m sharing a few of the products I have been loving from The Boppy Company. All of these items have helped Ryan & I to adjust to life with a new baby. Every day is a new adventure and we’ve loved adding these products into our daily routine!

Boppy Pregnancy Pillow

Okay, so the first item isn’t technically for a newborn but perfect for any expecting mama! Toward the end of my second trimester, the belly really started to pop and things became uncomfortable, especially at night. I don’t know about you, but a good night’s sleep is pretty high on my priority list and that’s where the Boppy Side Sleeper Pregnancy Pillow comes in. It’s perfect for sleeping on your side because it has two pillows that are connected in the middle which provide support for your belly and back and prevents you from rolling on your back. I liked the compact size, it didn’t take up the whole bed like some other pregnancy pillows and made sleep so much more comfortable!

BOPPY NEWBORN LOUNGER

The Boppy Newborn Lounger is hands down one of our most used baby items. We use it every single day when we want to have a hands-free moment while giving Porter somewhere comfy & cozy to hang out in. We love it for awake-time after feedings. When I first got pregnant and was asking my girlfriends what to put on my registry, this item came highly recommended and now I know why. We’ve been using it ever since Porter came home from the hospital – it’s designed for newborns and infants weighing up to 16 lbs. or until they start to roll over.

It has a handle on the top so it’s easy to move around the house or travel. The fabric is soft and super easy to spot clean (already tested that!) plus the whole lounger is machine washable.

BOPPY PILLOW

The Boppy Pillow is a baby registry favorite because it’s versatile and great to have around the house. I was so glad I brought it to the hospital with me as it was a must-have for breastfeeding. Even though newborn babies are tiny, you can still get tired holding them in nursing positions so this pillow is great for extra comfort. We also loved having it when our friends came over to meet Porter his first week at home- it was great to give them some support, especially if they weren’t used to holding a baby.

The great thing about the Boppy Pillow is that it grows with your baby all the way up to a year old. You can use it for breastfeeding and bottle feeding, tummy time and propping up while sitting. It also has a removable slipcover that is easy to clean and you can purchase different designs if you want to switch up the look.

BOPPY COMFYFIT CARRIER 

I was so excited when I got to finally start baby-wearing Porter. There are tons of carriers and wraps out there and what I love about the Boppy ComfyFit® Baby Carrier is that it’s a hybrid of both. It has a waist belt with a buckle so it gives you great back support but the front is more like a wrap-style carrier (but much easier to put on). The yoga-inspired fabric is so soft and comfortable – I’ve loved wearing it around the house while I cook or do laundry. It’s designed for babies 8-35 lbs. and can have the baby facing you or facing forward, deepening on their  age. It’s also one size fits most so easy for both Ryan & I to wear and most importantly, Porter loves it!
