Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope everyone had a great (long) weekend and if you followed my ridiculous amout of snaps, then you know Miami was a blast!! However, Labor Day got off to a rough start because our flight ended up getting delayed for several hours then eventually cancelled and we didn’t get home until 7 HOURS past our original time. At least four of us girls were together- there was lots of people watching, phone charging, Snapchat filter making, and Chili’s! I’ll have a recap of our trip up soon but for now, I’ll share some family photos for today’s wedding Wednesday. Can’t believe our wedding was exactly 4 months ago!!
If you remember from my post about our first look, then you know getting some photos in before the wedding was key. Of course I didn’t want everyone to see me before the ceremony, but knocking out the customary portraits with our closest family was totally worth it. We also decided to keep it small- we didn’t do a huge family photo with everyone from each side because at the end of the day, what would we really do with that photo? I’m glad we decided to keep it simple with parents, grandparents, and siblings.
We are so thankful for all the support from our parents as we planned this wedding, both financially and emotionally. One of the very best things about the wedding was having all of our family under the same roof and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day!
I’ll end with this last photo of Ryan & his grandmother, or “Grammie” as he likes to call her. Isn’t it the sweetest?? Unfortunately my grandma & grandpa were not able to attend the wedding due to unfortunate health issues. While it did make me sad, I know that’s part of life and I’m just thankful we have technology now that can make them feel like they were there. I can’t wait to show them the video… which will hopefully be here any day now!

Stunning portraits! I agree – I have no idea what people do with the large family group shots. We stuck mostly with immediate family for ours, too.

Amazing pictures girl!! During our event the day before the wedding we got a bunch of family portraits in and that was so special because we got some great shots! My grandmother wasn't able to attend either due to health, but sending the video to her I know she will love watching it and feeling like she was a part of it!
