A little behind on my posting but last week got a little busy!
Just a recap from last weekend when my lovely visitor was in town. We went up to Raleigh for date night because Ryan had never really been through downtown and we wanted to try a new restaurant. Luckily, it was restaurant week and we got to try this cool place called Bolt Bistro (delicious lamb). It was the perfect night to sit outside and enjoy the city life. Buies Creek may be tiny, but I do love it for school. However, the closest Target is 40 minutes away… just sayin.
Oh and I finally got my room together.. yay!
For Labor Day weekend I made the drive down to Charlotte (love my city!) to spend some time with my boy and friends. Luckily one of my classmates Ellen is from Charlotte as well, so we carpooled & the ride wasn’t so lonely. This Saturday was a very special day for UNC Charlotte… our VERY first football game ever! For Rachael’s birthday we got everyone together and tailgated, sure made me miss the old college days (I mean I’m in college again.. but it’s not the same). The cool thing was that the 49ers were playing no other than the Campbell Camels, but the Niners came out on top with a 52-7 win!
It was great to have a 3-day weekend but it’s back to the grind tomorrow. We will be going through our first HEENT exam (head, ears, eyes, nose, & throat)! Luckily this one won’t be graded since it’s our first one. Have a great week peeps!
