Hi friends, long time no see! Please excuse my absence from this little space for the past two weeks. To be honest, Ryan was traveling that entire time so I didn’t do anything too exciting and just focused most of my time on working out, starting new home projects, a little relaxing and catching up on lots of TV shows. I think we can all benefit from a blogging break every now and then and I’m now I’m even more excited to share some spring and travel content with y’all!
Warm Weather Wish List
TGIF, friends!! I am heading back to Charlotte today after a very quick ski trip to Boone. I was on the fence about going again since it has been so warm this week (65 degrees out yesterday!) but we made it and it was quite the adventure. Very slushy snow and there were patches of dirt/grass/rocks along the way but we made it out alive. But talk about some treacherous conditions! This was my second time skiing and I wanted to get out there one more time to make sure this was a sport I want to continue doing… and it is! And speaking of warm weather, spring is definitely on my mind and today I wanted to share my warm weather wish list with you guys and everything below is under $100!
Grey Cowl Neck Sweater + Winter White Denim
Spring is in the air!! Well… not quite yet but these pink trees are blooming all over Charlotte and definitely have me wishing for warmer weather. We had a pretty low key weekend and I was just soaking up all the time I could with the hubs before he leaves for a long work trip. We pretty much had sports on our TV the entire weekend, both the NBA All-Star game and the olympics. My favorite things so far have been the slopestyle skiing/snowboarding, skiing aerials, short track speed skating and of course figure skating- I actually prefer the winter olympics to the summer (gymnastics is still #1 though)! Today I’m sharing an easy look to transition from winter to spring- the weather has been so up and down but I know I can’t put away my sweaters just yet!
Life As An Urgent Care PA
Hey y’all! It’s been way too long since I’ve written a medical-related post and lately I’ve had some requests to talk about some of the aspects of my job as an urgent care PA. I originally started my blog in PA school but since graduation, it has transitioned into a space where I can talk about other passions of mine like fashion, travel and home decor. While sharing a lot of medical posts in school was fitting, it has been nice to write about other topics because I talk about medicine every day at my job. That being said, “medicine” is in my blog name after all so I will still try to share occasional blog updates with you guys and if you have any PA-specific posts you’d like to see, let me know in the comments!
What I’m Wearing for Valentine’s Day
I’m back with another Valentine’s Day outfit idea- this is what I’ll be wearing to date night with my hubby! Ps. Please excuse my crazyyyy hair in all these photos- I kept trying to hold it back but the wind was intense!
Mani Monday Roundup
Hey y’all! So, I share a lot of my manicures and favorite nail colors on Instagram but haven’t on the blog in a longggg time (whoops!) so I thought it would be fun to share some today!
