Hey y’all! I hope you guys had a sunny and relaxing Memorial Day weekend- how crazy is it that June will be here in 2 days?! I’m back with another Italy travel guide and today I’m sharing what we did in Venice! There wasn’t a ton on the itinerary so our time here was mostly spent walking around and enjoying the city. I’ll let the pictures do the talking!
Red, White & Blue Split-Back Tank
TGIF!! I’m interrupting our regularly scheduled Italian programming (ha!) to share a fun summer outfit with you guys. Summer is quickly approaching and I thought I’d throw a little red, white & blue your way since Memorial Day is upon us. Like, how is it almost June?!? Blows my mind. Keep reading to find out where you can score this tank on major sale… and I mean major!
Italy Travel Guide: Cinque Terre
Hey guys! Today is part two of my Italy travel series and I’m super excited to share this destination. After our 2 days in Florence, we got up and took an early train to Cinque Terre, a region of 5 towns located on the northern Italian coast. Bright, colorful towns set atop cliffs- they are absolutely beautiful and made me feel like I was in an Italian postcard.
Denim, Lace & Striped Sandals
Happy Monday, friends! So I was supposed to work all weekend but things took an unexpected turn when our clinic started flooding on Saturday. Yikes! Something was backed up in the city water lines in our area so we finished out the day but I later found out that our clinic would be closed on Sunday… and now today! This time off is definitely unexpected but I know I’ll have plenty to do around the house and who else is excited for The Bachelorette to start back up?! Today I’m sharing my outfit from dinner in Cinque Terre and quite possibly the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn.
Italy Travel Guide: Florence
It’s time for my first Italy travel guide and today I’ll be talking about the city of Florence, or Firenze as the Italians call it. For our first anniversary trip, we jetted over to Italy for 9 days to explore all over the country. I know it doesn’t seem like much time, but not all of us can get 2-3 weeks off for vacation (especially after starting a new job) so we made it work and were able to see so much in our time there. We traveled to Florence, Cinque Terre, Venice, Positano, Capri and Rome and I fell in love with the beauty of this country. Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing a guide from each of the five stops that we made so let’s jump right in!
Florence Travel Outfit
Hey guys, I’m baaaack!! First of all, let me just say that Italy was absolutely amazing (if you couldn’t already tell from my major over-posting on social media). It was the perfect place to spend our first anniversary so cheers to one year of marriage and a lifetime more! I promise I will have detailed travel posts soon- hoping to do one on each city- but today I’ll share one of the first outfits I wore on the trip. First stop… Florence!
