Oh hey Monday, we meet again! I hope everyone had a lovely start to their February. I had a pretty relaxing weekend, nothing too crazy. I’m linking with Biana & Meghan as usual so let’s jump right into my short but sweet recap!
Friday was a happy day. I studied most of the day at work, assisted with a c-section, then picked up some food and made dinner with Ryan. Yay for the fiancé coming to town!! He hasn’t visited since October because I had a rotation/winter break in Charlotte and have been going there so much on the weekends. We were in full-out lazy mode that night but did manage to do some research for our upcoming vacation! I am sooooo excited to be somewhere tropical some front runners are the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and St. Thomas. More updates to come!
On Saturday, we had a big breakfast, lounged around some more (exciting weekend, huh?) and I squeezed in some studying. I’m so ready to get this OB test over with… only 4 more days of work! That night Ryan & I popped over to the mall and then headed downtown for a little date night. It was Triangle Restaurant Week so we took full advantage with some yummy Italian food and a big bottle of red at Caffe Luna. My classmate Anna was our server there so that was an added plus! After dinner, the boy & I headed to Raleigh Times to meet up with my roommate Sarah and our friends Freddy & Rachael.
Love these Loren Hope earrings that came in my Rocks Box! And Sarah let me rock her Ray-Bans for the day. I didn’t think I would like this style on me, but I actually love the retro feel of them!
How cute is Caffe Luna? (Ps. you can see the guy on the left waving at me as I was taking the picture, he probably thought I was a total creeper!)
Oven Roasted Pork Tenderloin Stuffed with Apricots, Plums and Pignoli Nuts with a Madiera Mushroom Ragu
Sunday wasn’t too exciting. Ryan headed back to Charlotte and the next time I see him will be Valentine’s Day (tear!). I did a bit of studying and even got my butt to the gym. Thank goodness my roomie is such a good motivator. After that I made dinner, binge-watched some Grey’s Anatomy, and helped Sarah decorate her ortho cookies that she’s bringing to her clinic this week. Aren’t they just adorable?!?
I hope y’all had a great weekend as well! Unfortunately since we don’t have cable, I didn’t get to watch the Superbowl. How lame is that?!? So please feel free to tell me which commercials I missed out on (because isn’t that the best part?). Thanks for reading!
