It’s a romper! It’s a dress! It’s… both?! Today I’m sharing the outfit that I wore to night one of The Blog Societies Conference, or #TBSCon which was held in Chicago. I will be sharing a recap of our trip this week so stay tuned if you’re interested to hear what all we did in the Windy City!

The blogger conference weekend always starts out with a welcome party and this year it was held at the Sugar Factory in Chicago. Luckily we had warm weather (or at least the first night!) so I was super excited to whip out this new outfit!
I would say the romper-dress combo is a relatively new trend that is starting to become more popular. I just think rompers are super fun to wear, although Ryan typically isn’t a fan (I don’t think most guys are). This version, however, did get his approval –yay!- probably because it’s flirty and shows a lot of leg. I love this floral print but it also comes in a pale pink. I just thought it was a great piece to add to my closet because it’s out of the box of what I typically wear. And as always, I appreciate the feminine details like the ruffles on the neckline and hem.
I have to give a shoutout to Brittany from Tilley’s Threads for taking these photos and letting me borrow her gorgeous Kendra Scott earrings– I need to order these ASAP! I really like the off center split to this. I feel like some of the other ones that are shorts in the center and long in the back are so odd but this one is totally perfect, plus the print is gorgeous. You look so pretty!
