Ruffled Cold Shoulder

Happy Monday! I don’t know about y’all, but I’m not a fan of daylight savings time. I’m just not quite ready for it to be dark at 5 o’clock, eeek!! This was the first weekend where I didn’t have any major plans and I really felt like I got to catch up on life. Sometimes you just need a weekend like that, am I right?! On a brighter note, today I’m sharing what might be my favorite fall outfit to date. I’m so glad this cold-shoulder sweater made its way into my closet!

As we all know, cold shoulder and off-the-shoulder tops aren’t going anywhere. This trend is here to stay and I’m still loving it. And it’s no secret that I love ruffles (have you seen my wedding dress?!) so when I saw this sweater I knew it had to be mine. I know we tend to gravitate toward oversized sweaters this time of year but this sweater is lightweight, fitted and perfect for tucking into skirts. It’s feminine and flirty and the ruffles are too cute!

To contrast the feminine details of the sweater, I added a little edge with a faux leather skirt. Ps. I found this color in the J.Crew Factory store and hopefully it will be online soon. I feel like everything I have been wearing lately is burgundy but I just can’t get enough of it for fall! I topped off the look with my trusty leopard clutch and my peep-toe booties that I have been wearing nonstop since I got them. They seriously go with everything and are incredibly comfy. Do yourself a favor and get some… you’ll thank me later!

And can we talk about these gorgeous tassel earrings from Moon & Lola? I love this brand because they’re based out North Carolina and make the cutest jewelry (and now accessories) including the gold monogram necklaces we all know and love.

Last but not least, today is Ryan’s & my 6 month wedding anniversary!! I honestly feel like it was just yesterday that we were celebrating the happiest day of our lives and now we’re enjoying life as newlyweds. I’m so lucky and happy to have him by my side and I couldn’t ask for a more loving and supportive husband. Okay- end of sappy rant! Thanks for reading and hope y’all have a great week!
