Hi friends! To all of you mamas out there, I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. We had beautiful weather here in Charlotte so spent most of it outside, had a yummy brunch at the RH Rooftop Restaurant and ended with ice cream cones and a long walk.
Today I wanted to share a few photos of Porter & I from our recent spring motherhood session. I actually won this shoot in an Instagram giveaway and it came at the perfect time- we took them on my 32nd birthday and got them back in time for Mother’s Day!
Porter was just under 14 months in these photos and I just love his precious little face! I’ve learned that taking photos OF or WITH toddlers is no joke- he was so squirmy and running all over the place but our photographer still managed to get some amazing shots, even of his sweet smile and little teeth! Long gone are those newborn photo sessions where they just lay there and smile at you, but I love the little boy Porter is growing up to be and his personality continues to shine through. This boy made me a mother and I will treasure these photos of just the two of us before baby girl arrives later this summer!
