This post is a little late BUT back in February we traveled down to Naples, Florida for a little sunny getaway. Sharing a few photos from our family beach trip in today’s post!
My mother-in law lives in Naples during the winter season so we try to get down there twice a year (although I’m thinking we should make it more)! It’s so nice to escape the cold winter weather and fly south, even though this was a colder season than usual. We went back in November and both times the water was too chilly to swim in, but at least this time Blair got to enjoy her first full beach day! She dipped her toes in the water and looked so adorable in her little swimsuit. My MIL got a Radio Flyer beach wagon which was perfect for hauling our beach gear AND for baby girl’s nap!

Both times we traveled with Porter last year he swam in the ocean but this time he was so content playing in the sand. It was so nice for Ryan & I to both get a little relaxation time while he played- looks like my babies love the beach as much as I do!
Our trip was pretty low key but we did have some great food. The first night we went to The Village Pub on the waterway, this was the warmest day so I’m glad we all went out and dined al fresco. Blair and I also had our very first matching Lilly moment (the first of many) and it made my trip! She looked so adorable in her dress and baby Jack Rogers.
The next night we stayed in because of the Super Bowl but we did go to a great new lunch spot, Hogfish Harry’s. So much great seafood- highly recommend the lobster salad and coconut shrimp. Ryan’s mom was kind enough to watch the kids so we could go on a Valentine’s date night and we went back to a favorite, Yabba Island Grill. If you want fun tropical drinks, delicious seafood and a fun patio vibe- this is the place to go. It’s also on 5th Avenue which is the Main Street in Naples with tons of restaurants and shopping.
Until next time, Naples!
