Does this fabulous dress look familiar? You may or may not have noticed that my roommate wore this dress out for my birthday, and I loved it so much that I decided to steal it… for a day! Can we just say, Target for the win!! It fit like a glove and didn’t even need hemming (great for us shorties out there). I love the simple top, which is perfect for layering dainty necklaces like this one from Gorjana, but the tulip hemline might be my favorite part of the dress. It’s a fun little mix up from the usual full-length maxi or high-low dress.

I paired the dress with my favorite new strappy heels from Nordstrom. Many sizes have sold out super quickly, and for good reason! They are cute, will match anything (there goes my nude shoe obsession), and aren’t too tall. Read: they won’t kill your feet! They come in several other colors, including a fun floral print.
