I still need to decide on a month-of planner as well as a cake… and linens… and practice my calligraphy. I’ve been slacking over here! However, I have checked one big thing off the to-do list. Bridesmaid dresses have arrived!! Remember this post when I was deliberating all the styles and colors like a crazy person? Well, go figure that I didn’t pick any of those dresses.
I actually decided on the “Megan” silk chiffon dress from J.Crew. The dresses were originally $365 (woof! I would never pay that) but you know J.Crew and their sales, so my girls were able to get a really good deal. I was struggling with finding the perfect color and after perusing Pinterest for tons of pictures of the “dusty shale” color, I decided these would be perfect for my wedding day! It definitely feels good to have one more thing checked off the list

LOVE the bridesmaid's dresses, they are gorgeous. The color is so pretty and I love the fabric. So kind of you to think of your girls when you picked a dress, I know many a bride that only cared about the color and hang the expenses. I was adamant about my girls not paying a lot and found some fabulous dresses online. I can't wait to see the overall picture and color scheme, so pretty!

Oh my goodness, I LOVE this color (especially with those flower colors!) It will be perfect!! It took me a long time to find dresses too because I didnt want my bridesmaids to spend a fortune on a dress that they'd likely only wear once (but I'm happy to report two of them have worn them since!) That was what took the most amount of time for me. I knew a bride who just got super cheap dresses and they were obviously cheap. Good that you got a good quality at a good price!
These are fabulous! I love the neckline, length and of course that amazing color! This definitely looks like something that they can hem and wear again and major plus for the sale! JCrew always has the best quality products!

I didn't realize you were already in Charlotte so my last comment probably seemed silly but anyway, I would HIGHLY recommend Kat Howes from Best Day Ever Studios. Totally affordable and completely professional, reliable and SO sweet. She did the most amazing job for our wedding in March and it's actually going to be featured in The Knot Magazine so she clearly has her sh*t together
