Whatever the holiday, the nails have to match… duh!!
The 4th was spent at the pool with my friends Rachael and Freddy and my roommate Jeff. We went to one of their friend’s places to hang out, grill out, and soak up some sun… which was great until the torrential downpour came. Luckily it only lasted like 20 minutes then it was back to sunny skies. Rach and I killed it at bucket ball (like beer pong but with big buckets and tennis balls) and were 3 time defending champs. And let me tell you, my right arm is still feeling it… whoops! We all met back up later to set off some fireworks- and we’re talking about the real deal fireworks from SC. The guys always seem to get pretty excited over these!
Yesterday, I did some cleaning around the apartment (yawn) and then celebrated the birthday of my wonderful roomie, Sarah. We headed to downtown Raleigh for dinner at Jimmy V’s and I had one of the most delicious pizzas ever- topped with fig, pear, and goat cheese! And who doesn’t love having leftovers for the next day??
Today I start my psych rotation in Durham and I’m sure it will be quite the change from ortho. I hope everyone has a great Monday and make sure to stop back by on Wednesday for a fun giveaway!!

Ok, this is going to sound so creepy, but I took pics in that pool's neighborhood the other day!! {How do I know? I saw that guy in the super short yellow swim trucks when I pulled up to park! haha} It sounds like you had an amazing weekend! Good luck with your new rotations!
