++ Maxi dresses are a must for those warm, windy beach days. These Lush dresses from Nordstrom are amazing- super comfy and flattering. They come in a ton of colors & prints and are currently on sale!
++ Any time I go out in the sun, I make sure to bring my Clinique SPF stick. It’s easy to apply to your face and you don’t have to worry about the messy liquid stuff. Sarah introduced me to this one and now I can’t live without it!
++ Swimsuits… duh! Bring a variety because you spend the most time in them. You may have seen this floral Zinke suit on my Insta this week… I’m obsessed!
++ I’m bringing along some fun, colorful accessories. I just got this tassel necklace and will definitely be bringing my Kendra Scott “Sterling” earrings– turquoise in the summer is my favorite!
++ Never ever forget to pack lotion with aloe to keep your skin hydrated. I make sure to wear extra SPF when in the tropics, but you always want to be prepared! No one wants to spend vacation with red, painful skin and look like a lobster.
++ I’m always reading books & study guides for school so I’m pretty excited to bust out the trashy tabloids and style magazines. I am so behind on my celebrity gossip.
++ It really isn’t a tropical vacation without a big, floppy sun hat. Not only are they cute & fashionable, but they’re a great way to protect your face and shoulders from the sun. Nobody wants wrinkled, leathery skin when they get older… am I right?
++ I admit that I’m addicted to lip balm. EOS is my go-to balm for my beach bag because it doesn’t melt in the heat!
++ Last but not least… a camera! Ryan’s dad was kind enough to let us borrow his underwater camera for this trip (which has a cute floatie attached to it) so we can take pictures in the water. I know that will come in handy!

Have a fantastic trip! I am jealous of your tropical vacay but I can't wait to hear all about it, and as always you have fantastic picks to pack. No tropics for me any time soon, but even going to the mountains things like SPF, a hat and magazines are always good things to toss in my bag!
