Ladies and gentlemen, this is the moment you have all been waiting for! Well….. actually it’s the moment us Campbell PA students have been waiting for- the reveal of our super awesome promotional rap video. That’s right, a rap complete with medical terms and white coats. A little nerdy? Yes. But hey, we all know the importance of social media and it has become a tradition for each PA class to create a video for your viewing pleasure. It’s a great way to showcase our program, facilities, and awesome classmates & faculty.
I know when I saw last year’s video (to Thrift Shop, see it here), I was amazed that they thought of all of those lyrics and somehow found time to make a professional quality video. This just goes to show that you can have fun in PA school and this video was a blast to make. A lot of hard work… but still a blast. Let me also say that I have absolutely NO singing ability and it’s still weird to hear my voice on this thing… but let’s face it, when else would I have the chance to be in a music video?
I have to give a shout out to the very talented Suzzette who lead this whole thing and to my classmates for all the great memories in the sim lab. So go ahead, have a look and please feel free to share on Facebook, Twitter, etc! If you or anyone you know is interested in PA school or any medical program, I would love for you to show them a little piece of Campbell!

On today’s schedule is the white coat ceremony for the new class, a catered lunch (yay free food!), and then convocation for the college of pharmacy & health sciences. This is our last day that will be jam packed with Campbell activities (gotta enjoy it while I can) and then it’s off to rotations next week! I will miss my little space in Garner but am so excited to be back in the QC to start my clinical year, make connections, and most importantly- learn how to take care of patients.
