Wedding season is upon us! Ryan & I recently attended a friend’s wedding in Uptown Charlotte, the same venue where we said our “I Do’s” 2 years ago and it was a blast! I was struggling to find something to wear I until I came across this yellow midi dress and was sold. Today I’m sharing this look plus 10 other wedding-ready dresses in fun shades of yellow!
Now, Ryan & I disagree on the color (he thinks it’s orange) but the actual color on the website is ‘marigold’ … so we’ll just go with that! This dress also comes in a light pink version, which I also ordered and tried on, but ultimately went with the marigold because it was different and so fun for spring! Yellow is a huge color this season (did anyone see Amal Clooney’s stunning number at the royal wedding?) and I love the shade of this one because I think marigold can work well for either summer or fall. I paired this dress with some gold fringe drop earrings and my nude ankle strap heels that I seriously wear to every wedding. No joke… every one!

That is a yellow I would totally wear! I love the deep yellow but it’s not really mustard. Marigold is a great name to call the color, reminds me of the flowers! I love the slit and the bow at the waist, great details!
